Experience & Qualifications
- An Associate’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not required
- 3+ years of experience working in an HR role
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- 2+ years of comprehensive benefits administration and reporting
- Practical and current knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Bilingual - ability to read and speak Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Experience with maintaining iSolved HRIS systems
- Proficiency in MS Suite
Position Summary
This position will perform Benefit and HR Administration as well as manager the Recruiting & Onboarding process. We are a small, effective team searching for a new member who brings a positive attitude, and willingness to jump in and get things done!
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for all non-exempt positions in collaboration with the management team utilizing innovative recruitment strategies and practices to attract the best, hire and retain a talented staff
- Onboard new employees on the first day including completing forms and a plant tour if necessary
Benefits Administration
- Administer all employee benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, 401k, etc.)
- Assist employees with questions throughout the year regarding all benefit plans
- Review and reconcile monthly benefit billing and communicate discrepancies
- Prepare and support all benefit enrollment for health and 401k plans
- Partner with 3rd party administrators on COBRA and leave of absence programs
- Assist with the preparation of health and 401K regulatory compliance filings accurately and timely as required
HR Administration
- Distribute, collect, and maintain all performance-related and disciplinary paperwork
- Oversee weekly attendance reporting and process warning notices
- Develop and process HRIS reports as necessary
- Maintain accurately completed and up-to-date employee files
- Update LMS and mass communication platforms as necessary
- Assist office with administrative tasks as necessary
