Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Machinists for projects located in Clairton, PA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install, adjust, and align three chucks, tools, and attachments for optimal machine operation
- Input instructions, including zero reference points, and make adjustments to CNC programs as needed to ensure accurate machining
- Take inventory of materials and tools to determine availability and prepare stock for production
- Operate CNC lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, grooving, and other machining operations with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards
- Verify settings and measure positions using precision tools to ensure conformance to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations and requirements
- Follow safety protocols and perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation and longevity
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a CNC machinist, particularly with CNC lathes
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machining techniques
- Ability to work with high precision and maintain tight tolerances
- Ability to lift and position heavy stock for machine setup
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Valid Driver's License
