This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Administrative Resource Center (ARC), Division and Branch as assigned. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will advise management on the evaluation and analysis of the effectiveness, productivity and efficiency of ARC programs and operations.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
- Conduct broad or specific studies relevant to ARC senior leader's organizational goals and objectives.
- Compile data and perform statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of a wide range of programs and initiatives involving some of the most complex management systems and processes in use within the Federal Government.
- Review and evaluate program goals, develop methods to measure success, identify factors influencing program accomplishments, and recommend changes accordingly to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and program operations.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of substantive ARC programs and work operations that at times affect the entire Bureau operation.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes experience with:
-Reviewing, evaluating, and recommending changes regarding reports, processes, programs, objectives, and goals; AND
-Organizing and delivering briefings and presentations to management; AND
-Contributing to various projects within an organization, either as a team member or project lead.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
