The Opportunity

The Assistant Print Designer has responsibility to support the Print Design and Colorist in the development of private label product for QXH Proprietary Brands. You will help interpret print designs for the proprietary brands with the Print Designer. You will have diverse responsibilities to support the print and color design process including market and trend research, print concepts by brand, and color selection. The Assistant Print & Color Designer inputs and updates all seasonal color palettes and print palettes. Help input all artwork and color for the QXH proprietary brands into Flex PLM.

Your Impact

  • You will create original artwork using drawing, painting and Ned Graphics skills.
  • You will work with the print design team to learn software techniques necessary in developing production ready print artwork.
  • You will help the Print Design Team with workload by providing necessary design and trend research ahead of print projects.
  • You will research market trends and gather inspiration.
  • You will use the print design library and online resources to help print designers with project workload.
  • You will be responsible for color matching and creation of brand palettes in our design software.
  • You will help make color comments on print strike-offs.
  • You will input artwork file into PLM system and manage palettes and BOMs in PLM.
  • You will contribute to clear data integrity and maintain all processes owned by Print Design team in our Product Lifecycle Management.
  • You will work with apparel and technical designers to ensure all artwork is correct scale for the garment.
  • You will approve print strike offs, embroidery submits, and other development materials sent from factories.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors in Fashion Design, Textile Design or Fine Arts.
  • Minimum 0-3 years fashion industry experience
  • Prior Print Design Internship a must
