Description

Base salary for this role is approximately $62,500 annually for external applicants. Internal applicants will go through a comp req process to determine salary.

This role is designed to work primarily in ops support. Ideally this role will have a 70.30 split where 70% will consist of systems support/IT support/ops support and 30% will be spent on the floor working with our hourly associates to complete daily workload.

Preliminary list of responsibilities:

  1. Based out of Elgin
  2. Data analyst
    1. Data analytics skills are not required to obtain the position; however, the expectation is that the candidate begins training immediately after the start date.
  3. Managing RF hardware
    1. Repairing equipment if it can be done at the site level
      1. Opening tickets if repairs cannot be done at the site level
    2. Managing inventory on all IT hardware
      1. Laptops
      2. Desktops
      3. RF guns
      4. Tablets
      5. Monitors
      6. Radios
    1. Handling upgrades with DHL IT Team
  1. Managing CCS updates
    1. First point of contact for CCS team
    2. On site with CCS when they are in the building for service calls
    3. Creating SOPs on how to resolve CCS issues
      1. Conduct training
  1. Managing WMI system updates/testing/issues
    1. Perform testing in WMS test environment
    2. Partner with systems team on upgrades to WMS
    3. Reprocessing messages in DHL Link
    4. Item slotting
    5. Designated person to connect with IT team and handle system outages
    6. Manage user ID creation/deactivation

  1. Assist in leading CI projects
    1. Leading change management between all parties at the site
    2. Partnering with network system/IT team on network initiatives
  1. Inventory management
    1. Analyzing data on in house inventory and identify risks
    2. Leading annual physical inventory
    3. Manage warehouse locations/check digits
    4. Take the lead on SAP/WMS sync issues
    5. Perform/assist with inventory adjustments
  1. Backfill for 1st shift ops supervisor
    1. Would learn how to manage our first shift operation and provide coverage when needed

Description

Responsible for the order processing, administrative, customer service, and accounting functions of a distribution center.

• Supervises the order processing and customer service functions for assigned clients.

• Performs accounting functions relating to payroll, A/P, inventory and general ledger activities, and related reporting requirements.

• Distributes and monitors work assignments within assigned responsibilities.

• Trains and cross-trains associates for all functions within assigned responsibilities.

• Prepares and reviews company and client reports, ensuring their accuracy and timely submission.

• Maintains discipline within assigned office responsibilities.

• Maintains operating efficiencies through scheduling, supervision, and planning.

• Interfaces with client representatives daily and maintains office operational coordination.

• Conducts performance reviews and periodic feedback sessions for hourly associates in the work group.

• Effectively communicates with associates and customers in person and via telephone, verbally and written to accomplish necessary objectives.

• Effectively reviews performance of subordinates, if any, to ensure compliance with requirements.

• Operates small office equipment to accomplish necessary objectives.

• May supervise office hourly associates

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, required

• Associate’s degree in related field, preferred

• 3-5 years as an office supervisor/manager, required
