Description The Health and Human Services (HHS) IT Delivery Center provides end to end IT services to all staff in the Department of Human Services (DHS), the Department of Health (DOH), the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA).

Do you like helping others? The Health and Human Services Delivery Center Desktop Tier 3 Engineering unit needs you. We are a seeking a motivated, IT Experienced, Tech with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide Tier 3 Technical Support to our Delivery Centers.

  • Work Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Monday - Friday; 1 hour lunch
We are looking for a competent IT professional to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems and peripherals . You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.  An excellent Service desk technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers. Also this position, working independently and/or as part of a team, is responsible for incident tickets in Service Now, testing application access and investigating problems to determine root cause.Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; OR one year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; OR three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • Must be able to perform essential job functions
