Purpose and role of job:

Responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager and Group Lead to ensure that all warehouse functions at building 1 are executed in a consistent manner in compliance with warehouse policy and procedures to include calculating accurate tallies of finished goods and raw materials and supplying it to production when it is needed. The team member who is awarded this position must be willing to work at other facilities, and willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

  • Follow necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
  • Inspects all equipment used daily and report defects to Management.
  • Maintains an efficient product flow throughout the warehouse operation.
  • Monitors and maintains good housekeeping in all areas of the plant and direct efforts to maintain excellent housekeeping.
  • Supports production lines with material requests.
  • Provides accurate and legible paperwork to maintain an accurate database.
  • Ensures the integrity and accuracy of all inventories daily.
  • Operates the Radio Frequency Gun to conduct movements, barcode scanning, and physical inventories.
  • Assists with repack and labeling operations when necessary.
  • Observe all safety rules and always use proper safety equipment.
  • Ensure the quality of the palletized product and store it in accordance with warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the performance of preventative maintenance.
  • Creates Bill of Ladings.
  • Schedules and monitors in-bound and out-bound trafficking.
  • Calculates accurate tallies and documentation during the loading, unloading, and warehouse process.
  • Follow the proper procedures of Lock Out Tags policy.
  • Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Knowledge of product codes.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to operate all warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Standard verbal, written communication, and computer skills.
  • Assists with repack and labeling operations when necessary.
  • Standard knowledge of technical processes, materials, and procedures.
  • Standard knowledge of EWM.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior computer experience preferred.
