The Opportunity
Schedule- You'll work on nights, 4 day work week, 10 hour days, either Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday- Saturday.
You will oversee the distribution operation department, partnering with other departments. Monitored and controlled, prioritizes, assigns, and reviews maintain departmental efficiency and meet productivity, volume and quality goals. You will work onsite and report to the Operational Manager.
Your Impact
- Lead Operation teams to support the high level of location accuracy, by achieving and implementing sound operating processes.
- Provide leadership and coaching on an ongoing basis.
- Review existing operations to determine what improvements can be made to department, which allow for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service.
- Work cooperatively, using a team supervisor approach to achieve performance goals established for both base and flex employee groups. Utilizes the "team supervisor" structure to provide a high level of support and interaction with all employees.
- Identify, report, and communicate trends or irregularities experienced. Analyze deficiencies and developing plans to correct. Recommend and implement solutions by involving staff to obtain the best result.
- Support in developing procedures to meet new or changing conditions within the department. Ensure consistency among sites in quality policies. Work with necessary stakeholders across the network to obtain agreement and implement corrective action measures.
- Lead teams in ways to lead a safe working environment for employees and maximize employee engagement throughout the operation and ensures that site remains proper health and security environment.
- Obtain and demonstrate a working knowledge of all technologies used in their Distribution Center including CLIC, WMS, WAMAS, Pyramid, CRM).
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience in a high volume distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Experience in encouraging a positive work environment and partnering with employees
