To maximize the weekly, monthly, and annual performance of the site by providing leadership while focusing on customer requirements, operational performance, positive workforce motivation, individual development and succession planning. The general manager will manage the following activities as assigned: Service Pricing Models, Online Marketplace Website, Marketing, Procurement, and 3rd Party Systems Management. 

Additionally, they will be responsible for the following:

-       Generates top line revenue strategies for the Contract Decorating Service (CDS)

-       Sets online pricing based on Finances profitability modeling

-       Designs, develops, implements, and manages an Ecomm business platform for personalization services

-       Designs, develops, implements, and manages 3rd Party software vendors for automated production

-       Assists with VAS implementations to compliment DSC standard 3PL services

-       Sells and contracts a variety of supplemental Personalization Services for VAS customers which includes, but not limited to supplemental capacity, digitizing embroidery files, product development consulting, website development consulting, equipment rental, and contract graphics design

Combine JD Experience Essential

  • 10+ years’ experience in product decorating including laser etching, embroidery, direct to garment printing, and ultraviolet printing
  • 5+ years’ experience managing a product decorating business
  • 5+ years’ managerial/supervisory experience
  • 2+ years’ of experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment
  • Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics

General Manager I - Distribution

As a General Manager at DHL Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouses. Job Description:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
  • Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
  • Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.

Required Education and Experience

  • 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience, required
  • 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment, required
  • Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred
  • Staff management, required
  • P&L management, preferred
  • Project management, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, preferred
