The Finance F&B Operational Specialist offers a great balance between front-line operations and back-end finance and analysis. This role will serve as the liaison between Operations, Information Technology (IT), and Finance to ensure appropriate processes and controls are in place, all while providing a seamless guest experience through ease of use of the Point of Sale (POS) system. This role offers a gateway to obtain experience in finance and analysis while using operational knowledge to improve and streamline processes for operational partners.

Job Functions:
- Manage the F&B Point of Sale (POS) software and Inventory Control system. Serve as the primary contact for daily management and upkeep, analytical reporting, and issue resolution. Proactively evaluate and seek to improve system-related controls and ensure appropriate segregation of duties. *
- Facilitate conversations and projects with Operations and IT pertaining to terminal/KDS, hardware, mobile ordering and banquet set-up. *
- Manage and link recipes between inventory system and POS, and help convert more locations to inventory depletion. *
- Participate in special projects related to the implementation of new guest ordering platforms, operational/menu offerings, and new restaurant concepts. *
- Prepare analyses on meal periods, specials, and events. Report findings to Operations to provide insight on the performance of menu items. *
- Provide analysis on product mix at all outlets across the organization to supply actionable data regarding margins. *
- Execute data clean-up, verify job codes and organization, audit usable buttons based on menu offerings and remove unused/needed items, and streamline screens across organization. *
- Collaborate with Finance and Operational partners as a team player. Meet communicated schedules and deadlines. *
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Culinary Management, Finance, Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 4 years of experience in lieu of education.
- Industry Experience - Food & Beverage, Hospitality/Tourism
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with InfoGenesis or other F&B Point of Sales systems is preferred.
- Strong math skills required.
- Must be innovative and a self-starter to complete tasks.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with multiple levels and areas of the business.
- Must be detail-oriented with proven organizational skills.
- Must display a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn while still portraying the professional image that follows Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines.
- Must be proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office and can quickly learn computer-based applications.
