Job Overview
The Data Device and Networks (DDN) business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis based out of Harrisburg, PA. This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis of the DDN Business Unit.
This position will support the DDN Finance Team in the preparation of annual outlook, quarterly forecasts, monthly Risk & Opportunities, and the Strategic plan. The manager will drive weekly/monthly reporting, variance analysis, and assist with the coordination and consolidation of various deliverables to Segment and Corporate FP&A. In the role, the incumbent will interact with multiple levels in the organization across Sales, Engineering, G&A, and Manufacturing Operations. The analyst will have a significant impact on providing accurate, insightful, and timely financial reporting, driving an efficient forecast process, and monitoring of key performance measures. Additionally, one of their primary objectives will be improving the accuracy and integrity of the forecast process, enhancing service to business partners, and streamlining existing data gathering and reporting.
Short Description
- Support DDN Finance and Management team where required with segment and Corporate submissions, ad-hoc projects, requests, and presentations
- Engage as a liaison with Operations finance team members and multiple Operating Expense functions to summarize and communicate monthly forecasts and reporting, business outlook, and the Strategic plan
- Lead S4 Conversion and related testing responsibilities for DDN
- Lead TEOA-F reporting and DDN process improvement efforts, and proactively apply TEOA-F principles in problem solving, root cause analysis, design automation, and other digital capabilities to transform financial and other associated processes
- Oversee the Delegation of Authority alignment within reporting systems
- Recognize and communicate potential risks & opportunities, through variance, bridges & decision support analysis
- Prepare, review, and distribute monthly performance reports
- Be accountable and display a sense of ownership & integrity around reporting & analysis
- Understand the business and apply knowledge to forecasting & budgeting processes
- Work well with all departments – encourage exchange of information and knowledge
- Be organized and complete analysis & reports on time.
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA a plus.
- 5+ yrs experience in progressive analyst or accounting positions or 5 yrs in a Financial Planning & Analysis role.
- Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills, intuitive, have problem-solving skills, strong oral & written communications skills, solid organization and planning skills, and a team player
- Must have experience and understanding of how to forecast the P&L and Balance Sheet, and general accounting and plant accounting experience.
- Highly skilled Excel user with SAP & Hyperion experience. Access or other data warehouse experience required.

- COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $131,000 – $196,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
