Amazon's "Last Mile" Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program is responsible for delivering packages (and smiles) to households/businesses across the planet. Our finance team closely partners to support this rapidly expanding business. We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic financial initiatives for our Americas DSP program team.
In this role, you will contribute to shaping financial strategy, delivering insights, and enabling data-driven decision making for our DSP business. You'll touch various aspects of the DSP and driver lifecycle including but not limited to acquisition, onboarding, recognition, and attrition.
A typical day will involve supporting the DSP program team with running data-backed analyses and collaborating with finance stakeholders across Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
- Deliver weekly/monthly financial close. Use financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support high-visibility strategic projects, often leading Return On Investment analyses for new programs
- Develop and maintain financial models to inform business decisions
- Assist in creating forecasting frameworks to guide program planning
- Prepare and present financial reports to inform decision-making
- Contribute to the development of scalable financial processes
- Assist in creating and implementing new frameworks for analysis and reporting
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
- Engage in ongoing learning and development opportunities within the finance community
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos or Essbase), SQL and Data warehouse

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
