What you will do
This Digital Marketing Optimization Internship offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on driving impactful digital marketing strategies. The internship will play a key role in supporting lead generation, email marketing campaigns, and enhancing our marketing analytics and tracking capabilities across all Volvo Trucks North America (VTNA) marketing channels. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in marketing automation, data analysis, and digital marketing optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Drive engagement, insights and optimization through our content, UX/UI and analytics on www.volvotrucks.us
- Analyze UX and UI to generate insights and actionable improvements
- Optimize web structure for increased content engagement and sales funnel advancement
- Define KPIs, measure, and analyze success on a site-wide basis
- Strategic SEO and form implementation across site
- Update, refine, and improve VTNA online truck configurator
- Support the execution of marketing automation initiatives, including setting up nurturing campaigns and analyzing online behavior.
- Assist in the development and implementation of email marketing campaigns to generate leads and engage customers.
- Track and analyze online behavior and develop lead scoring models.
- Help to maintain and organize digital assets.
- Provide support to the digital marketing team in various projects and initiatives.
We’re Looking for the Following Education, Experience, and Skills:

- Efficient or knowledgeable with marketing tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, SEM Rush)
- Efficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
- Efficient with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite)
What’s in it for you?
- Applicant must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in digital marketing communications, business communications, or a related marketing field at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.

- Summer interns may work up to 40 hours per week
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
