This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the group/convention room reservation process for The Hotel Hershey and Hershey Lodge with a high attention to detail.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Manage allocated room blocks to agreed upon contracts by assisting meeting planners with the reservation process for their upcoming group/event at The Hotel Hershey or Hershey Lodge.*

  • Utilize Sales & Catering (Amadeus Advanced), Property Management System (ResortSuite), and our online booking technologies to set up each group with accurate notes to begin the booking process including blocking all suites, special requests, and complimentary rooms prior to a group’s arrival on property.*

  • Monitor group room block release dates and inventory issues to maximize room revenue in line with specified selling guidelines.*

  • Communicate with convention services, sales, reservations, and front office teams to provide accurate and timely information.*

  • Ensure that group reservations, changes, and cancellations are handled accurately and in a timely manner.*

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.

  • Industry Experience - Hospitality/Tourism

  • Must have a valid Driver's License

  • Completion of high school or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of room reservations system with Delphi/Amadeus and ResortSuite experience preferred.

  • Proven problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to follow through on details and planning.

  • Focused on providing a high level of guest service to internal and external customers.

  • Ability to resolve problems and work collaboratively with multiple departments.

  • Must have the ability to provide their own transportation to the various Hershey Entertainment & Resorts venues. Reimbursement for gas and mileage will be accessible while traveling in a personal vehicle.
