This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Consortium for Medicare Health Plan Operations, Office of the Regional Administrator (ORA), Philadelphia, PA .
As a Administrative Specialist, GS-0301-7, you will perform a variety of administrative support functions to carry out a wide range of office services for the Office of the Regional Administrator (ORA) and the Program Divisions of the local Regional Office (RO)

In order to qualify for the GS-07
, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1) Providing administrative functions (e.g., time and attendance, training, travel and supplies procurement); 2) Assisting in coordinating administrative and operational assignments; AND 3) Assisting with the monitoring the status of projects and reporting to management.

Substitution of Education for Experience: You may substitute education for specialized experience at the GS-07 level by possessing One (1) full year of Graduate level of education or A bachelor degree that meets the requirements for Superior Academic Achievement.

Combination of Experience and Education: Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified in the table, and may be computed by first determining the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages

To be eligible, current or former Federal employees and current or former Federal employees applying under the VEOA eligibility who hold or have held a permanent General Schedule position in the previous year must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
