Description Are you looking for a great opportunity to utilize your clerical skills, we have the position for you.  This Clerk Typist 3 provides clerical support for the Chief Operating Officer, Safety and Security, and the IT Department.
  • Work Schedule
    • Monday thru Friday; 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
    • 37 1/2 hour work week

 This position provides clerical support to the Chief Operating Officer, Safety and Security and the IT Department.  Also provides back-up coverage for the CEO's office and the Maintenance Office.
Serves as secretary to record minutes for several committees that meet monthly.
Performs as Timekeeper for the Boiler Plant and Safety and Security; inputting overtime.
Responsible to coordinate and collect information to produce a monthly hospital newsletter.
Coordinates the leasing of hospital buildings.
Coordinates the review and/or update of the WeSH procedure manual as well as policies affecting the administrative area.
Responsible for coordinating the hospitals yearly membership requests to organizations.
Performs all duties in preparing investigation paperwork as directed by the Safety Manager for usage in the Local Violence Assessment Team.

  • Based on the nature of the duties in the position description, the individual selected for this position may be required to annually disclose specific personal and business financial information in accordance with Management Directive 205.10 regarding Financial Disclosures Required by the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act.
Legal Requirements:

This position comes under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
Commonwealth employment requirement:
  • A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medial examination.
