Description You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Supply Chain Execution Branch/Ammunitions Logistics Center of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as a fundamental understanding of ordnance acquisition logistics concepts and policies with emphasis on ordnance supply programs. Investigate and analyze a variety of unusual ordnance supply problems. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Provide cradle to grave logistics management support, recommendations and guidance to senior level management for naval ammunition inventory of assigned commodities; 2) Oversee and ensure the establishment and maintenance of all required technical, logistics and inventory related data and indices within the Ordnance Information System-Wholesale (OIS-W); 3) Provide recommendations to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Managers to ensure requirements for operational logistics support, inventory accuracy, and execution of support responsibilities are met; 4) Advise management on ongoing ordnance related projects and issues; 5) Develop, monitor, and facilitate implementation plans within prescribed timelines.

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical and inventory management guidance necessary for the implementation of standardized ordnance supply logistics disciplines for the operational logistics management and control of naval ammunition. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of logistic programs and/or operations. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Responsible for the overall planning and development of operational logistics support for assigned ordnance programs; 2) Provide for the planning, direction, coordination, and control of all assigned ordnance logistics management functions; 3) Review technical data leading to accurate cataloging into OIS-W and the timely assignment of National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and maintenance of that data; 4) Possess and maintain working knowledge of operational requirements and dependencies for assigned material managed from an employment platform hardware and software configuration perspective; 5) Interface with and support DoD and Navy Program Management and supporting organizations for assigned programs; 6) Oversee and ensure the establishment and maintenance of all required technical logistical and inventory related data and applications within the Ordnance Information System-Wholesale (OIS-W).
