This position is located in the Maintenance Section, United States Mint, Philadelphia, PA.

As a Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic, you will:

  • Install, monitor, troubleshoot, rebuild, overhaul, modify, align, and calibrate new and existing integrated electronic equipment, electrical systems including, indicating, and recording control systems used on industrial coin production machinery, and robotic and other computer control systems.

  • Apply advanced electronic theory to performing the full range of installation, diagnostic, modification, alignment, and testing functions.

  • Serve as a lead worker on teams to install new equipment systems.

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on systems, parts, assemblies, or components that are of highly complex design, construction, and functionality.
