As a Program Management Director within PNC's Shared Services Enterprise Architecture organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH.

The Program Management Director has overall responsibility for driving the success of complex, multi-faceted sets of initiatives, in partnership with business partners across the organization. The Program Management Director takes responsibility for establishing and facilitating the structure that enables all phases of a program’s activities, from strategic definition through planning, execution and deployment. The Program Management Director must build strong relationships, driving engagement and discussion of interdependent activities, as well as managing a cross-functional team including direct reports and non direct reports.

In this role, you will be working on an important initiative to enhance change management practices for the company. Experience including program management, change management, risk management, and regulatory engagement are important for this role.

Job Description

  • Oversees program managers to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy.
  • Evaluates and provides guidance during the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; develops strategies to ensure all projects within the program are cohesive and in line with organizational goals.
  • Oversight and accountability for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program.
  • Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results.
  • Builds business relationships to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
