This Inventory Territory Manager 2 position will be responsible for servicing and managing existing inventory equipment lines of credit in place with construction equipment distributors and rental houses in the assigned territory, while calling on prospective distributors to develop new relationships. The TM position is within the Construction Group and the assigned territory is an 18 state section of the central United States. The successful candidate will be required to be physically located within the assigned territory with access to a large airport. Travel is required on a weekly to bi-weekly basis to visit their client dealers and prospects.
In this position, the TM2 will interact with Credit on quarterly and annual reviews of current clients, requests for lines with new clients and day-to-day requests for advances. The TM2 will also interact with Funding on day-to-day requests for advances. In addition, the TM2 will interact with Portfolio and Customer Service as necessary on issues arising with distributor lines.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
- 5+ years of equipment finance leasing experience
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and internal partners
- Sales experience including the ability to negotiate and influence
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of credit issues including technical ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of lease pricing, negotiation, and closing transactions
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong presentation skills
