Full-time employment (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Monday - Friday; 1 hour lunch period)
The employee coordinates and evaluates the state-wide hazardous waste corrective action work share program by serving as project manager, coordinating and approving all contractor-assisted work activities, reviewing and approving contractor-assisted work for completeness; preparing progress reports for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); serving as liaison with EPA, other agencies and Department regional staff; coordinating and enforcing the Statewide Assurance Program for Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) permitted facilities; and providing hazardous waste program technical support, etc.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
- Two years of experience as a Solid Waste Specialist;
an equivalent combination of experience and training which affords the applicant the required knowledges and abilities.
Necessary Special Requirement
- Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
