Description The Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation is seeking a highly dedicated person to investigate allegations of inappropriate conduct by business and healthcare professionals.  The Professional Conduct Investigator Supervisor oversees and directs a staff of Professional Conduct Investigator 1's and Professional Conduct Investigator 2's and enforces the high standards of the regulated professionals by conducting detailed investigations throughout the region.

  • Work Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday; 1 hour lunch
This is a highly rewarding position that ensures the public health and safety through investigations into allegations of violations of the standards of conduct, laws, rules, and regulations regarding professional and occupational licensing and other areas under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Commonwealth.  

Travels to various sites in a geographic area of the state to conduct periodic inspections of all affected professions and occupations, by observation and interviews, noting any deviation from established standards, and preparing reports to communicate findings.Qualifications:
  • Must meet PA residency requirement – For more information on ways to meet PA residency requirements, follow the link and click on Residency
  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Professional Conduct Investigator 2; OR eight years of investigative experience involving the development and presentation of evidence regarding violations or alleged violations of rules and regulations, which includes two years of supervisory experience; OR four years of investigative experience involving the development and presentation of evidence regarding violations or alleged violations of rules and regulations, which includes two years of supervisory experience and a bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training that includes four years of investigative experience involving the development and presentation of evidence regarding violations or alleged violations of rules and regulations, which includes two years of supervisory experience.
