This position performs specialized trainee work in the field of human resources and will participate in a variety of assignments, which may include: attending meetings with program areas and union officials; researching documents; preparing reports; and conducting analysis designed to broaden experience in Human Resource functions, programs, and the Commonwealth.  In addition, this position will be assisting in the preparation of job postings in NeoGov; conducting reviews of candidate eligibility; obtaining necessary hiring approvals; conducting background checks; recommending applicants for hire; participating in grievance investigations; recording and evaluating information; and preparing analysis and recommendations.

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - A bachelor's degree, including 15 credit hours in public administration, business administration, or a
    related area.
