• Responsible for advancing simulation capability within the DnD Business unit. Defining new methodologies to keep pace with the advancing technology and manufacturing constraints. Document, organize, and train the organization on developed standard work instructions.

  • Become intimate with the mechanical and electrical development cycle to create tools and procedures that improve efficiencies between the individual workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal simulation COE experts to improve existing analysis and statistical techniques
  • Validate new simulation methods with real world performance
  • Document, organize, and distribute standard instructions
  • Facilitate training on simulation best practices.
  • Analyze emerging tools to determine potential efficiency and accuracy advantages
  • Develop strong mechanical simulation proficiencies
  • Develop a good understanding of high-speed electrical simulation
  • Work closely with DnD management to identify impactful efficiency improvement
  • Work with global manufacturing resources to incorporate factory capability into the development process.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical) required.
  • Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge about various phases of product realization and product development
  • Proficient using Design Software (For Example: Pro/E, CREO, AutoCAD. etc.)
  • Proficient using Ansys simulation software
  • Basic knowledge in manufacturing process (machining, molding, stamping, plating, etc.) will be a plus.
  • Basic knowledge in material (metal/plastic) properties will be a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of transmission line/signal integrity concepts is helpful in completing required tasks.
  • This position is technical and requires an individual who can work independently.
