Full-time employment
Work hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday; 1 hour lunch
The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring and testing database backup and recovery procedures for ORACLE and SQL Server environments (RMAN/VERITAS). Verifying and testing ORACLE database and application integration after ORACLE Database Administrators clone our ERP IBMS systems.
The incumbent will assist higher level Database staff in support of the Agency's ERP responsibilities by processing ORACLE and SQL Server code migration requests as identified by Activity Log database entries. Code is migrated from development environments to integration, user acceptance tests and production environments.
The incumbent will assist ORACLE Database Administrators by using Oracle's Enterprise Manager software to monitor ERP system performance, database and table growth, and overall system health.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Applications
Developer 1 or Information Technology Generalist 1; or two years of information technology experience that includes one year in the analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration or in the analysis and design in overall support of data administration, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or four years of information technology experience that includes one year in the analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration or in the analysis and design in overall support of data administration; or a bachelor's degree in any information technology field
This position requires a minimum of six months full-time PL/SQL experience and a minimum of six months full-time Oracle Administration experience
