Description As a PNC Intern, you will participate in a "best-in-class" internship program. During this 10 week program you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a specific line of business, expand the tools you need to launch your career, and complement your education with real-world job experience.
PNC Finance works to prepare and analyze financial statements, regulatory reports, forecasts, and budgets, as well as providing reporting tools to implement control functions. Corporate Finance & Accounting Interns will work with other finance professionals to perform accounting, reporting, variance and profitability analysis, as well as reconciliation, budgeting and forecasting.

Job Description

As an intern, you may be aligned to any of the areas in PNC Finance including:

  • Line of Business Support: Responsible for providing revenue generating lines of business with strategic counsel, meaningful reporting and analysis, and critical insights into business and financial metrics to drive results
  • Shared Services: Responsible for managing the budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis for areas that reach every department of the bank
  • Corporate Controller’s Office: Responsible for providing meaningful, accurate, reliable, and timely financial, regulatory, and risk information
  • Other Areas: Segments of Corporate Finance that do not fall into the first three areas based upon the nature of their work: Investor Relations, Enterprise Performance Analysis, Corporate Tax, and Mergers and Acquisitions
  • The Corporate Finance & Accounting Summer Internship Program is located in Pittsburgh.

Work Experience

Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience, but possessing relevant skills. Includes individuals joining the organization through a Corporate development/ training program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
