Our client is the leading manufacturer of commercial and residential garage doors; looking for a motivated and experienced individual to work as the companies Account Executive.

The Account Executive develop an in-depth knowledge of all of the company's products and applications and will be responsible for performing product presentations, creating relationships with key accounts, and establishing new accounts.

  • The position posting is for a talented, energetic, and motivated Account Executive whose responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Perform field promotional work to sell and secure new business, to include important and major accounts and/or develop sales and secure business in new accounts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current Dealers as well as expand to new dealers
  • Work with design accounts to specify the company’s products in new projects.
  • Identify opportunities through cold calling, tradeshows, industry networking, and lead development services.
  • Demonstrate products and advise prospective accounts in solutions to fit their need.
  • Demonstrate and familiarize established accounts with new products (services) and developments.
  • Assist with preparation and attend industry trade shows.
  • Install product samples as needed.
  • Fully utilize Dynamics CRM to manage accounts, opportunities, activities, and forecasts in the territory.
  • Create project layouts and work with customer service team to create project quotes.

  • Minimum Position Consideration Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
  • Experience as a Commercial & Residential Garage Door Sales Preferred
  • Construction Sales Background Experience preferred but not required
  • 5+ years' experience in B2B cold calling sales with strong track record of success
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
