Description You will serve as a Traffic Management Specialist in the Navy Household Goods and Postal Operations Branch (SUP 421), Fleet Services Support Division (N42), Deputy Commander, Supply Operations and Logistics Policy, Naval Supply Systems Command of CNSSC OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FIELD.For GS-13 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector administering technical and analytical work concerned with planning, development, and execution of traffic policies and programs related to personal property movement; Specialized Experience must include the following: 1. Develop and formulate concepts, programs, and systems related to personal property movement; 2. Apply a comprehensive knowledge of transportation policies and procedures to analyze and improve traffic management programs related to House Hold Goods (HHG); 3. Utilize technical expertise and experience when dealing with extremely broad and complex transportation problems related to geographic dispersion and a variety of different local, organizational, and command level policies and procedures related to House Hold Goods (HHG); and 4. Prepare comprehensive written reports, briefing findings and observations, and providing recommendations for improving House Hold Goods (HHG)/personal property transportation operations to senior level management.

For GS-12 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of traffic management policies, principles, and practices related to personal property movement; Specialized Experience must include the following: 1. Planning and directing transportation operations for the movement of personal property; 2. Providing an comprehensive insight on all aspects of personal property management with emphasis on NAVSUP and DOD House Hold Goods (HHG) program and business practices; 3. Planning, supporting, implementing, and improving transportation operations related to House Hold Goods (HHG); 4. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues/problems related to traffic management, by referring to established instructions or guides, or referring more complex problems, not covered by instructions, to the supervisor directly; 5. Preparing comprehensive written reports, briefing findings and observations, and providing recommendations for improving House Hold Goods (HHG)/personal property transportation operations to upper management.
