Full-time, Seasonal Employment (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
This position performs duties that are routinely executed seven days per week and will be scheduled to work weekends, evenings, and holidays according to the needs of park operations. There are no benefits.
This position coordinates and implements environmental and historic interpretive programs, summer youth, and outdoor recreation programs, information services and public relations at the Moraine State Park Complex. Work is performed under the supervision of the assistant park manager, in fulfillment of State Parks' mission to provide opportunities for enjoying healthful outdoor recreation and serve as outdoor classrooms for environmental education.
The EIT will use established lesson plans to facilitate interpretive programs for the public. The position may also help with volunteer work days and other large events, and prepare media such as brochures and fact sheets for display. The position also prepares letters, reports, correspondence and other written material to stay in contact with local groups. An EIT must maintain flexibility to help bring programs to busy areas.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Educational development to the high school level or equivalent level supplemented by at least two college level courses in botany, ornithology, ecology, wildlife, mammalogy, entomology or related courses;
any equivalent combination of experience and training.
