This candidate will be an individual contributor who partners with Information Security and Wells Fargo Technology (WFT) business partners, policy owners, and Independent Risk Management stakeholders to address and support WFT's ongoing adherence to Information Security and Technology policies.

This candidate will be responsible for governing efforts in collaboration with partners in Information Security and Technology domains to ensure remediation activity is executed to according to policy requirements. Additionally, candidate may be accountable for conducting assessments and gathering evidence to demonstrate adequacy of risk management practices associated with policy adherence. 

Candidate may also perform ongoing analysis, perform monitoring/assessment activities, and produce actionable reporting that can be used to clearly articulate degrees of adherence and highlight required remediation. Must have strong hands-on background within Information Security and Technology that includes evaluation of risks, processes, controls, tools, applications, and related evidence associated with the management of technology and/or information security risk.

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
  • 6+ years of information security risk management program experience with at least 3 of those years of experience within technology
  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: audit, examiner or compliance testing

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to manage complex issues and large amounts of data
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems with data analysis
  • 3-5 years experience in an Information Security and/or Technology Risk Management function
  • 3-5 years experience with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense as well as regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Information Security Risk and supporting technologies
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in assessing Information Security and Technology processes and functions to establish controls that reduce risk in accordance with policies
